Meet Dr. Gray

Meet Tata

Kerri Gray, MD
Dr. Kerri Gray has been practicing medicine in Bethesda since 2000. A native of Florida, she has lived in Chevy Chase since 1999, and has two children, Joey, a sophomore at UMBC and Katie, who is a freshman at Penn State.
Dr. Gray received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary, in Williamsburg VA, in 1991. She graduated from medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California in 1995. Following that, she completed internship and residency in Family Medicine at Georgetown University, in Washington DC. She has been board certified by the American Board of Family Practice since 1998, and holds licenses to practice medicine in Maryland and Virginia.
She sees patients of all ages, and offers services including well woman exams, school physicals, immunizations, and management of most common primary care issues. She also has been recognized consistently by Washingtonian Magazine, Consumer Checkbook, and Bethesda Magazine as one of the top family practice doctors in the area.
Whether you have been one of our long time patients we call our friend or are new to the practice, thanks for finding us at our newest location and Welcome!
Tata has been in practice with Dr. Gray for the last 7 years. Prior to that, she worked as a hospitalist at Holy Cross Hospital. She was born in Armenia, and moved to Rockville when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Richard Montgomery High School and now lives in North Bethesda with her husband Vahan and two children, Vivi age 6 and Olivia age 3.
Tata received her undergraduate degree from UMBC in Baltimore in 2009 and her masters degree to be a Physician Assistant from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2014. She did her training at several local hospitals on Long Island, NY before returning to the DC area. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has been licensed to practice medicine in the state of Maryland since 2014.
She sees patients of all ages and offers both acute care and preventive medicine, with a focus on patient education and care of the whole person. She may not be listed on some insurance websites as a primary care provider, but just select Dr Gray's name and our current address in order to see Tata as well.

Meet Phyllis
Meet Yesi

Phyllis Smigocki

Yesenia Gutierrez, MA
Phyllis and Dr Gray have been working together for 20 years. Phyllis grew up in Silver Spring and went to Northwood High School and Montgomery College. Her first Medical Assistant job was in the same building we are located in now! Phyllis is well known to all of our long time patients as an excellent phlebotomist. She is semi-retired so she only works on Mondays if you are hoping to find her. She has lived in Burtonsville with her high school sweetheart for 48 years and raised 3 children and now 5 grandchildren in the area. She loves going to the beach and visiting her newest granddaughter in Charleston, SC. She is an excellent potter, and her pieces can be found at local gift shops.
Yesi and Dr Gray have been working together for 8 years. You may remember her from our previous office locations at Montgomery Ave, Shields Drive, and Allcare Bethesda. Yesi grew up in Rockville and went to Rockville High School. She graduated as a Medical Assistant from MedTech School in Silver Spring. She is the proud mom of Max the dog and aunt to Khloe and Emma. She lives in Gaithersburg and speaks and writes fluent Spanish. She is in the office Tuesdays- Fridays. And just like Phyllis, her first Medical Assistant job was also in this building over 10 years ago!
Meet Larissa

Larissa is the newest addition to our office. She is originally from Panama, and she went to Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola for college in Peru. Larissa lives in Rockville and in her spare time takes care of Poncho, a Neapolitan mastiff who comes to her as a rescue animal. He is quite a handful! She is in the office Monday-Friday until 4pm and handles all of our front desk duties. Her hobbies include cooking since she has attended culinary school!
